Garden Update
The backyard is looking a little overgrown, but I guess that’s better than undergrown.
A squash plant is taking over the compost pile.
We actually ate something from the garden!
When we pot houseplants with soil from our worm bin we get a lot of cherry tomato plant sprouts. This one is growing around our avocado plant. It’s a little messy (we kind of mangled it when we moved it outside). We picked 5 cherry tomatoes already! It’s not really a meal. Or even a salad. But it’s a start (they’re tasty).

A couple of months ago we took a load of unneeded stuff to our local thrift store in Maspeth. We did a little shopping there too. Janie picked up three crocheting books.
I found cassettes for 20 cents! The ‘94 Subaru has a cassette deck (of course).
