front is now a herb garden: rosemary, oregano, marjoram, sage, thyme, rhubarb, sunflowers, chamomile, chives, lavender, mint, blueberries and whatever seeds from the bird feeder...chyrsamthemum seeds to be planted on lower level. NOTE: Stewart is very approving (in the window all the time)
We’ve been really, really bad about updating the blog. We did a lot of work on the downstairs- ripped out some ceilings, replace some ceilings, plaster, drywall, paint, etc. It’s looking a lot better.
Today I was scraping at a bump in the paint on one of our bedroom window frames. Eventually, this popped out:
I’ve never seen one before, but I think it’s an old tack to help keep track of which storm window fit into which window frame.
Is that normal when you’re working on your house?

1st blueberry!!! ok, actually the 2nd. Brad ate the 1st one in his excitement. But left the other one for me which is pictured.
